I’m an Electrical Engineering and Computer Science major at U.C. Berkeley. My interest in this field started when I was a Gas Turbine mechanic operating the ship’s Power and Propulsion plant in the U.S. Navy. The boiler systems, feedwater, pneumatic, and oil systems all made sense since I worked on them every day, but the electrical systems and their various electronics were a mystery.
